Brief
The Royal College of General Practitioners underwent a complete refurbishment of all ME&PH services. Gloster MEP completed the project on a design and build contract.
Scope of services
- Dismantling and strip-out of all existing services.
- Design coordination and installation of new ME&P services.
- Installation of HV /LV, lighting and control systems, security services, fire alarms and comms room.
- 7No AHUs, 2No Chillers, Mitsubishi VRF, boilers CHP unit, 12No pump sets, VAV & 160No 4 Pipe FCUs with a trend BMS system.
Solution
On top of the difficulties of working in a Grade II listed building, RCGP was a very complex building structure which also included 50 bedroom/study rooms. With detailed co-ordination, including 2D and 3D modelling, this complex installation was successfully completed.
